How to communicate with dev team?

I need to clear up few of my doubts regarding my idea. Where can i communicate with the dev team? I'm not comfortable sharing my ideas openly in the discussion tab.

    You're welcome to join the GitLab Community Discord (https://discord.gg/gitlab) and share your thoughts there, but there is no private means of communication with the dev team. GitLab team members cannot provide specific advice on a project, in order to be fair to all applications.
